The Lightning Product is Acme Technologies original connector. Due to it's seniority in our product line, there are a few different troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken.
Common Errors
Unable to connect
Cannot find or access files
Too many requests
Unstable connection
Unable to connect
If you see an "Unable to connect" warning, this indicates an issue with either your router or with the Lightning connector. Unplug the Lightning connector, wait 10 seconds, and plug back in. After rebooting, check if you still see the error. If so, connect Lightning directly to your router and then attempt to restart.
Cannot find or access files
If you see a "Cannot find or access files" warning, this indicates the Lightning Connector is unable to access your network files. Open your firewall settings and ensure the Lightning app is approved for Network sharing and confirm "share files over the network" is also enabled.
Too many requests
If you see a "Too many requests" error, this indicates a rate limit. Wait 10 minutes and try connecting again.
Unstable connection
If you see an "Unstable connection" warning, this indicates an issue with your network. Open your network settings and ensure Lightning is prioritized in your network settings. Note: You may need to work with your ISP.
